Day 7: A day in Perth City

I woke up at 07:45 and Büsra at 08:15. At 9 o'clock we had breakfast. Jennifer had made pancakes for us! It tasted really good.
Today we went to Perth City. At 09:14 we drove to the bus station and we went with the bus to the train station. At around 10:30 we arrived in Perth City. It turned out Peter and Jennifer live quite far from Perth City.
It was quite busy there, because today and saturday and sunday there is a giant parade or something. We expected to see like 20 or 30 giants, but it turned out there are only two. A diver and his niece. Today we only saw his niece.
After that we had a ice coffee. Then we went to a park and there were very nice plants and trees! There was also a very beautiful big tree!
We actually wanted to cross the Swan river, but there was a very long queue so we didn't go. Then we met up with their other son, Paul, and his girlfriend. They talked a bit and then we were approached by a woman and man who wanted to ask some questions to us on camera. We said it was okay and the woman asked us about what we thought about the Giants event. It was quite funny to do. Then only 2 minutes later, we were approached again, but this time by two students. They gave us a flyer about student flights to Europe. Then the guy asked if he could take a picture with us and we said yes of course.
Then we went to have a lunch and we sat down in the shadow. After we were done Büsra and I went to go by the shops on our own. There are a lot of nice shops there in Perth City. We also went by a souvenir shop and we bought some souvenirs for our family.
Then we went back and in the evening we had a nice dinner and we went for a walk in the evening.
When we arrived back at the house, we saw an earwig and a mini scorpion. We asked Peter to take them away and he wanted to bring them outside but he eventually killed them.
