Day 12: Rottnest Island

This morning we woke up at 05:30! It was very early and we didn't even have time to eat a proper breakfast. We were brought to the train station of Midland by a taxi. We then headed to Perth City with the train. The train was already quite full and then we stopped at a station where a lot of people went into the train. The train was completely full, there was no space where you could move.
We arrived at Perth City at 07:45 and had a coffee and then we could get on the boat to Rottnest Island. It only took 2 hours, but there were a lot of waves so I kind of got sick because of it.
When we arrived at Rottnest island we first had to wait for our luggage to be brought to our room. We had almost waited for 3 hours! When we finally got our luggage we put on our bathing suits and went to the beach. We sunbathed till 4 o'clock and then we headed back to our room. We took a shower and then we walked around for a bit.
At 7 o'clock in the evening we had dinner with Jennifer and Peter at a nice restaurant. I had ordered a fish that tasted really good. During our dinner quokka's, a kangaroo species, were wandering around and sometimes even begged for food and walked under our table. It was really cute. The dinner was really nice and we had a good time.
Then we went to our room and Büsra and I made a walk again and made a video. Then we went to our room and read for a bit.
